Gran Berrinche Malbec 2020 is the icon wine of Lattarico Wines, produced in extremely limited quantities in Pampa El Cepillo, Uco Valley, Mendoza. It combines depth, elegance and structure, with the distinctive freshness of a high-altitude Andean terroir.
Tasting notes
Deep violet with dark reflections. Aromas of plum, blackberry, red berries, lavender and violet unfold alongside fresh herbs, subtle spice, vanilla, chocolate, toasted nuances and a mineral edge. Full-bodied and layered, with generous fruit, velvety tannins and a long, persistent finish.

Winemaking and ageing
Fermented traditionally in 500-litre bins after a pre-fermentation maceration, with gentle daily punch-downs and pump-overs. Malolactic fermentation begins naturally in concrete. Half of the wine is aged for 18 months in first-use French, Hungarian and Slovenian oak barrels; the remaining half spends the same period in concrete eggs.

Serving
Serve at 16–18°C. Open in advance or decant before serving.
